Call for Archival Materials Submission

Attention all activists, archivists, individuals, and organizations with archival material related to the Nigerian LGBTQI+ community! We at Haus II Gallery are excited to announce an open call for submissions of archival material related to the Nigerian LGBTQI+ community.

This call is an effort to preserve the history and narratives of the Nigerian LGBTQI+ community and to promote the visibility and representation of the community in Nigeria and beyond. We are interested in collecting a wide range of materials including but not limited to photographs, documents, videos, audio recordings, personal stories, and artifacts related to the LGBTQI+ community in Nigeria.

The submissions will be curated and exhibited at Haus II Gallery, a space dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the diversity of queer culture in Nigeria. The exhibition will serve as a platform to educate and inform the public about the struggles, triumphs, and contributions of the Nigerian LGBTQI+ community.

If you have material that you would like to submit, please visit Queercitypodcast.com/haus-ii-gallery for submission guidelines and instructions. The deadline for submission is March 29th, 2023.

We welcome submissions from individuals, organizations, and institutions that share our commitment to preserving the history and narratives of the Nigerian LGBTQI+ community. Together, we can build a more inclusive and equitable society that values and celebrates the diversity of human experiences.
