Graphics Designer (Nigeria/Lagos) Remote

Role Summary:

Queercity Media is looking for a Queer graphics designer with a curious mind and adventurous work style to join our think-tank and would help translate the organization’s brand material into engaging, modern, and African Queer experience-centered pictorial content that helps Queercity media further achieve its strategic goals.

Requirements:

Our Ideal graphic designer is:

  5. Has a keen eye for aesthetics and details
  6. Have at least 1-year experience as a Graphics Designer
  7. Ability to work remotely and manage workflow using Teams, Zoom, Asana, etc
Job Deliverables
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with the creative team to produce the final design
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Remuneration

Based on a monthly accumulated invoice and performance-related pay, #5,000 to #10,000 is paid for every work.

Role Summary:

Queercity Media is looking for a Queer social media manager/Content curator to join our programs department and help transform our social media outlets, engage our digital community, build our digital community, and represent the organization’s aesthetical value through captivating and on-brand posts, videos, pictures, essays, etc

Requirements:
  1. Queer content creator
  2. Knowledgeable of algorithms and social media savvy
  3. Creatively curious about content material with mobile phone
  4. Independently innovative with social media content creation
  5. Collaborative
  6. Has a keen eye for aesthetics and details
  7. Have at least 1-year experience as a Social media manager
  8. Ability to work remotely and manage workflow using Teams, Zoom, Asana, etc
Job Deliverables
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with Queercity’s goals
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Instagram layout, Twitter Engagements, and UX )
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop Queercity’s awareness, like promotions and social events
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
Remuneration

Based on a monthly invoice #10,000 is paid every month as Data Stipend
